During this day of service and celebration, all volunteers will be scheduled for shifts to serve and with ample time to enjoy activities throughout the day.
Conceptualized and planned by Urban Voices Project community members, our second annual, A Holiday Called Home: a Skid Row Community Celebration is a must-not-miss event. You’ll experience creative activation, joyous connection, and festive music perfect for this holiday season.
The day is full of incredible opportunities for community engagement, including a winter clothing drive, hygiene kits for community members, and more.
Bring a song or a sense of rhythm for our music engagement activities, including an open mic, a Neighborhood Sing-style workshop with our Performance Choir, and more!
We are excited to welcome Skid Row Arts Alliance Partners Creative I and Piece By Piece to host community arts and craft tables.
A silent auction of Skid Row-based visual artists’ work will be held.
A donation of $20 is kindly suggested to attend.
