ABOUT THE PROGRAM
Neighborhood Sing is an immersive music engagement workshop that cultivates self-expression and community.
Trained teaching artists facilitate participatory activities such as mind-body practices, breathing exercises, sharing songs from a diverse repertoire, improvisation, and guided conversation.
This workshop aims to improve mental health and develop social and emotional learning. Weekly sessions are held in person at Joshua House Clinic and Central Library. Zoom and Facebook Live streaming options available for Joshua House Clinic program.
LOCATION & REGISTRATION
Neighborhood Sing is held on Wednesdays at the Joshua House Clinic (325 E 7th St) on 7th & Wall, accessible to local Skid Row residents. This program is also held on Zoom and Facebook for virtual access.
Neighborhood Sing is also held in person on Thursdays at the Los Angeles Central Library (630 W 5th St).
