Coffeehouse

Coffeehouse is an empowering musical experience and performance featuring Skid Row Artists. Participants work with a vocal coach for a series of one-on-one sessions to develop musicianship and professionalism. The ten-week program culminates in a live performance, open to the public. The curriculum includes identifying repertoire to showcase the authentic voice of each participant, learning performance and stage techniques, and working with professional musicians. At the performance, each participant presents their growth, courage, and self-empowerment by singing on stage for fellow students and the community.
