Labs include a music and piano theory class and a masterclass style vocal technique workshop. Participants of all levels can develop fundamentals of musicianship, theory, and performance. The masterclass-style workshop encourages participants to observe, learn, and provide supportive feedback to the performer along with the instructor. Music Education Labs helps build community among participants and creates a platform for individual voices to be celebrated on a regular basis.
I feel that the Music Education Lab has deepened my understanding of how music works, and I find myself processing what I learned and have a deeper appreciation of the music I like. The program provides the much needed accessible enrichment in the community.
